These cookies are what Santa’s dreams are made of! Chewy, soft, and the best combination ever invented: chocolate and peppermint! So delicious!
Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup butter, softened to room temperature
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1, 10 oz. bag white chocolate melting wafers
Crushed peppermint candy canes
Combine and sift flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugars together. Add eggs, and beat again. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into balls, and chill, covered with plastic wrap for at least one hour or overnight. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Let cool. Melt white chocolate wafers according to package directions. Dip cookies halfway with the white chocolate, then top with crushed candy canes. Let set up for 10-20 minutes. Recipe makes about 32 cookies. Enjoy!
